August 2026 brought another shift in the housing market: the national median home price climbed 2.1%, reaching $395,000—even as sales dipped by 4.3% and inventory expanded by 5.4%. Single-family homes drove much of this price growth, yet a few cities experienced price drops as increased supply put downward pressure on values. Interpreting these trends takes more than surface-level analysis. Drawing on my background in law, advanced training in luxury home marketing, and hands-on experience from years in home inspection, I always focus on how market movements translate to real opportunities—and risks—for buyers and sellers alike. My approach is all about integrity, strategy, and clarity, so you can make informed decisions in a changing landscape.
