“The Hill” is a heartwarming drama that follows Rickey Hill, a young man from impoverished small-town Texas with a natural talent for baseball. Hindered by leg braces due to a degenerative spinal disease, Rickey’s dream of playing professional baseball clashes with his stern father’s wishes for him to become a preacher. Synopsis: In the small town of Lone Creek, Texas, young Rickey Hill (Colin Ford) has a deep passion for baseball. Despite his leg braces due to a degenerative spinal disease, he shows an extraordinary ability for hitting baseballs, catching the attention of his school’s baseball coach.
